

Rules & Regulations
Open to local, national and international submissions by video artists, filmmakers, animators and urbanites with cameras or video capable mobile devices.
NATIONAL SUBMISSIONS MUST UPLOADED OR POSTMARKED BY AUGUST 20, 2007.
INTERNATIONAL SUBMISSIONS MADE BY MAIL MUST BE POSTMARKED BY AUGUST 13, 2007.
All films must be exactly 60 seconds long, with no audio. Filmmakers’ names, Film Title, and Category will appear beside the film at all times, so it is not necessary to include them within the screen-time of your film.
Films must be entered into only one category. If you are having a tough time, pick the category that is the closest fit. You can submit more than one film to the festival.
Technical Requirements
All films must be:
60 seconds (exactly)
720 x 480 (3:2)
30 fps (NTSC)
no audio
minimal compression (highest quality), such as a standard DV codec, if possible
videos produced using mobile devices are welcome
It's TUFF, but consider the audience.
When you are making your film keep in mind the photos are being showcased in a public space therefore any films which could be deemed offensive may not be shown. Keep in mind the following:
Films which condone any form of personal discrimination will not be shown
Films which appear in a realistic manner to exploit, condone or incite violence; or directly encourage, or exhibit obvious indifference to unlawful or reprehensive behaviour will not be shown
Films which demean, denigrate or disparage any identifiable person, group of person, firm, organization, profession, product, or service or attempt to bring it or them into public contempt or ridicule will not be shown
Avoid shots which detract from the image of the TTC and/or its employees
